Blueberry Muffins (Chappy)

Makes 4-6 muffins

When, as she would say, “Huckleberries are in season", Grandmother Up Down used to greet us with these muffins when we came ashore from Condor for breakfast on Chappaquiddick (or as Alex called it, "Chappadidick"). The recipe, exactly as copied below, used to be stuck to the Chappy refrigerator door along with the EYC calendar.  Now that we have our own oven on board Condor and Grandmother is no more on Chappy, I tend to use the recipe adapted from Mostly Muffins or make Blueberry Corn Muffins.

Grandmother's recipe [mix all together]:

"3/4 c flour
1 t baking powder
1/4 c sugar
1/4 t salt
2 T melted butter
1 egg [or 1/4 c "egg product"]
1/4 c milk
1/2 c blueberries - or more

Bake 20-25 minutes 400 degrees F"
